Poznań is the fifth largest city in Poland and home to nearly 540,000 residents. Located in west-central Poland along the Warta River, it is an important centre of business and culture, well known for its Renaissance Old Town. The city hosts the Poznań International Fair – the largest industrial fair in the country and one of the largest in Europe.

To meet the challenges identified in the Strategy for the City of Poznań 2030, Poznań aims to improve citizens’ access to public services, upscale the city’s technological infrastructure, enhance the cooperation between enterprises, universities and R&D institutions, strengthen the city’s attractiveness as a place for studies and scientific research and increase investment opportunities for enterprises.
